Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev) Ubuntu-problem masa nk boot OS

2 hari lepas aku dapat masalah untuk boot Ubuntu lepas install Ubuntu server 9.04 dekat server Dell PowerEdge R410, ni problem dia:

Boot from (hd0,0) ext3 5108701a-641d-43b182eb-aeb6da348d62
Starting up ...
Loading, please wait...
Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough ?)
- Check root = (did the system wait for the right device ?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/5108701a-641d-43b182eb-aeb6da348d62 does not
exist . Dropping to a shell!

Busybox v1.10.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.10.2-2ubuntu7) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

(initramfs)

dua hari aku habiskan masa untuk setle kan masalah ni, huh..penat2..

Langkah2 penyelesaian:

tambah acpi=off dekat string kernel semasa boot loader. Kalau server dell ni masa boot tu nnt press "Esc" untuk msk grub boot kemudian press "e"  and press "e" skali lagi untuk edit kernel contohnyaaa mula2 kernal dia macam ni:

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.28-11-generic root=UUID=108701a-641d-43b182eb-aeb6da348d62 ro quiet splash

edit kernel ni tambah acpi=off camni:

kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.28-11-generic root=UUID=108701a-641d-43b182eb-aeb6da348d62 acpi=off ro quiet splash

Press [enter] untuk sah kan edit anda, then 'b' untuk terus boot dengan kernel yang edit td.
